The Source — Episode 2: The Second
The forest falls unnaturally silent. Where the map's ink runs out Grinvich finds an old campfire: a rotten rope, a buckle, ash that will not say whether the wanderer went on or turned back. He leaves the drawn line and trusts his own eyes. Something follows him — a single footprint, neither animal nor human, a branch snapped sideways at chest height. At dusk the path ends in a clearing with a perfect circle of flattened grass, and from the shadow of the rocks steps a being taller and narrower than a man, with no face at all. Remembering the old hermit's words — do not answer at once — Grinvich stays where he is.
The comic itself is in Russian.

How it was made
1. The cast, drawn first
Before the first panel, every character got an anime reference sheet in the author's own project: the full figure and a portrait, built from the appearance the author wrote. The faceless beings got sheets too, so the Guardian stays tall and narrow and the Creature low and wide from panel to panel.

2. From chapter to pages
Each episode is one chapter of the book. The scenes stay exactly as the author wrote them: the captions and lines are the author's own sentences, shortened only to fit the panels, and every panel is drawn at the exact shape of its frame.

Written and directed by the author, drafted and drawn with the AI tools in Boost Your Imagination.
